3 Fun-Filled Ways to Celebrate Fourth of July

Fourth of July is just around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate our nation's birthday! The idea of spending time with family and friends, enjoying a beautiful display of fireworks lighting up the night, and simply living in the moment of the freedom we've been gifted, it just doesn't get much better than that! In honor of this great holiday, Isla Del Sol wants to make sure you've got something spectacular to do. So here are 3 fun-filled ways to celebrate YOUR Fourth of July!

1. Host a Barbecue
Don't want to get out and about during this busy holiday weekend? No problem! Invite your nearest and dearest over for an evening of fun and park it at your very own humble abode! Set up some yard games, get the fire pit started, grill up some delicious grub and watch the fireworks from the comfort of your own back yard. With all the fireworks displays taking place around the Lake you're likely to be able to see them from wherever you are! Speaking of...

2. Check Out the Lake's Fourth of July Celebrations
This year watch a fantastic fireworks display from virtually anywhere around the Lake! Multiple firework displays will be taking place around the Lake throughout the week at more than 10 locations! To find a location near you, visit https://www.funlake.com/independence-day-fireworks-full-list.

Then hop on by the Horny Toad Entertainment Complex July 3rd and 4th for quality music from SoulRoot. Celebrate America with all American rock’n’roll. Check out Soul Root before the show at www.soulrootband.com. Or check out your favorite water front bar or restaurant at the Lake for other great live music and entertainment. Regardless as to where you end up, you're bound to find a good time!

3. Take a Trip to St. Louis
You don't want to miss out on the long-anticipated opening of the new-look Museum at the Gateway Arch happening on July 3! The state-of-the-art attraction’s ribbon cutting will coincide with Fair Saint Louis (July 4th, 6th and 7th), a FREE admission event celebrating our nation’s independence each Fourth of July – all for FREE! This year, 'America's Biggest Birthday Party' is hosting concerts by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra - July 4th, Jason Derulo and Andy Grammar - July 6th, and Martina McBride - July 7th at the Gateway Arch National Park! 5 Reasons to Buy a Condo at Isla Del Sol

If you visit the area regularly for vacation, it may be time to think about buying a condo at the Lake of the Ozarks for the use of your own personal vacation home. Vacation homes are perfect for getting away from your busy life and spending a relaxing weekend at the Lake. There are many reasons why purchasing your own Lake of the Ozarks condo could be more beneficial to you than just renting a hotel room or vacation home. Isla Del Sol offers five reasons to invest in your own vacation condo at the Lake of the Ozarks.

1. Increase Equity
As with any home, your goal is to be able to make money from the property if you decide on selling it later. Homes are a great way to increase your equity, especially if you are able to have a low interest mortgage.

2. A Place To Call Your Own
When you own a vacation home, it can be a great place to bring the family together for special occasions and holidays. You, your family and friends can enjoy lasting memories in a place that's all your own. Your vacation will become a little more special with each year to come and memory made.

3. Easy To Maintain
When you think of investing in a second place, you need to decide whether you want a home or condo. Condos at the Lake of the Ozarks are a popular choice, as they are easy to maintain. When they are used as a vacation home, they are unoccupied more than they are occupied. The condo association deals with all the upkeep of the building, so you can spend more time having fun on your vacation!

4. Great Vacations
Having your own Lake of the Ozarks condo means that you can visit whenever you want! If you visit enough, having your own place means saving money on places to stay. In addition, you also won't be affected by the off-season! If you want to visit the Lake on a spur during a nice weekend in the middle of winter, you won't have to worry about getting last minute reservation.

5. Retirement
The Lake of the Ozarks is a great place to retire, especially if you own a waterfront condo. If you purchase a vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks, you can use it as a weekend getaway home and use it as a future retirement home when that time comes.
