This Week's Activities at the Lake of the Ozarks

We're starting to see some of that promising warmer weather that boasts fun in the sun that living at the Lake of the Ozarks is all about! Now that it seems we're on the downhill slide and out of winter's grasp, we're excited to get out and about and enjoy all that the Lake has to offer! So what's there to do this week around the Lake? Lake of the Ozarks Bike Night
Starting April 20, every third Thursday of the month through September, the Bagnell Dam Strip will shut down for the annual Lake of the Ozarks Bike Night. This ever-popular monthly event hosts biker related activities that include live music and prize giveaways from several of the local businesses on the strip and draws in crowds from all around!

Fundraiser for Quilts of Valor Foundation
This event is held at Shawnee Bluff Winery on April 25 to help raise funds for the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. 100% of food and beverage proceeds will go to this special foundation.

Lake Regional West Side Health Fair

On April 27 at the Elks Lodge in Laurie, Lake Regional will be hosting a health fair to provide free and low-cost screenings, health advice, and giveaways. Participants may take advantage of free blood pressure, vision, body fat analysis and body mass index screenings, as well as free pulmonary function tests. This is a great opportunity to speak to several health care professionals about a number of your health questions all in one location. Registration is not required!

Lauren Anderson Duo Live in Concert

The Horny Toad Entertainment Complex will be hosting special guest, Lauren Anderson, on April 28-29 from 9pm-12am each night. Her accolades include 2015 Female Vocalist of the Year-Midwest Music Awards, and this great review from Timothy Finn of The Kansas City Star “She has a powerful voice, one that bears some resemblances to Melissa Etheridge or Janis Joplin. ” This is one act you will not want to miss!

33rd Annual Clown Golf Classic
One of the largest and longest running tournaments in the area, this event supports the Dream Factory. This event takes places at the Osage National Golf Resort on April 29-30, Player Party on Saturday evening and golf tournament on Sunday morning.
