Fall Golfing at the Lake of the Ozarks

The Lake of the Ozarks is home to some of the best golfing in Midwest. Whether you are an avid golfer or just beginning, the many courses that are offered at the Lake of the Ozarks are sure to satisfy everyone. There are 12 golf courses in the Lake area, so there is a course to challenge every skill level. With courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Tom Weiskopf, Fred Farley, Ken Kavanaugh, Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jack Nicklaus, it's no wonder why the Lake of the Ozarks is the Midwest's premiere golf destination. Bear Creek Valley

Bear Creek Valley Golf Club stretches through 250 acres of colorful Ozark forest. The course features zoysia fairways, subtle L93 bentgrass greens and multiple tee settings, which makes for an enjoyable, yet challenging, round of golf. There's a causual restaurant and lounge, as well as a driving range, putting green and pro shop. Tee times are accepted up to 60 days in advance.

The Cove at The Lodge of Four Seasons

The Cove opened in 1973 and has challenged golfers of all skill levels ever since. With 72 bunkers, rolling hills and water in play on 9 of the holes, this par 71 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. is anything but tame. This course has breathtaking views of the lake and a classic designs that leaves golfing wanting another round at this legendary golf course.

The Ridge at The Lodge of Four Seasons

This course features rolling hills, natural rock outcroppings, native wildflowers and beautiful views of the lake that makes this course very "player-friendly." The Ridge offers a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels with four sets of tees ranging from 4,617 to 6,447 yards. When the game is over, golfers will leave with a smile, remember a course like no other in the Midwest.

The Golf Club at Deer Chase

This challenging track winds through the beautiful Auglaize River valley and surrounding hills. It features Bermuda fairways, multiple zoysia tees and the largest bentgrass green settings in the area. The golf facilities features driving range, golf shop and practice and chipping greens. Tee times are accepted up to 30 days in advance and open year round!

Eldon Golf Club

Located among a backdrop of wooded areas, rolling hills and creeks, this course is sure to provide a pleasurable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course features zoysia fairways and an upgraded bunker system that lead to accommodating greens. In addition, the exceptional layout offers four tee locations to challenge all golfers. The facilities include a driving range, video analysis by PGA professionals, pro shop, clubhouse, snack bar and swimming pool. Tee times can be made up to 7 days in advance and golf season is year round with weather permitting.

Lake Valley Golf Club

Voted #1 course at the lake, Lake Valley features a unique balance of six par threes, six par fours and six par fives. This course is a "must play" providing a well-maintained and challenging course that features generous fairways with large greens that are slick and demanding. The facilities include a practice putting green, driving range, tennis court, swimming pool, locker room, and bag storage. Golf season is year-round with weather permitting and tee times can be made 30 days in advance.

Old Kinderhook Golf Resort

This course designed by Tom Weiskopf features spectacular views, elevations and layout that meanders through the Ozark hills. Each hole captures a special aspect of the terrain that offers a challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. The amenities include a driving and practice range, two putting greens, short game and bunker practice area, clubhouse and pro shop, fine and casual dining, locker rooms, lounge, swimming, tennis and health and fitness area. Golf school and lessons are also available. Tee times are accepted up to 30 days in advance for daily fee play.

Osage National Golf Resort

The original 18 holes at Osage National were designed by Arnold Palmer in 1992 and feature 7,150 yards of zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens. An additional 9 holes were added to create three 18-hole combinations. It is beautifully laid out and features forested, rolling terrain and surrounded by lakes, creeks and the imposing bluffs of the Osage River. The tranquil setting provides the backdrop of a challenging, but enjoyable golf experience. Tee times are accepted 60 days in advance and may be made online at www.OsageNational.com. It is recommended that golfers call no less than 48 hours in advance.

The Oaks Course at Tan-Tar-A Resort

The Oaks Course was designed by world-renowned architects Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge and features a championship layout that is carved out of the natural Ozark hills and places a premium on accurate shots and strategic course management. The Bermuda and zoysia fairways combined with the multiple tee boxes creates a unique and enjoyable experience for the experts as well as the novice players. Tee times can be reserved 60 days in advance with a credit card.
