Father’s Day is fast approaching. If you do not know what to do this weekend, Lake of the Ozarks has a variety of options. From golfing to camping, the Lake has it all. Isla Del Sol created a list of the best activities to do this Father’s Day at Lake of the Ozarks.

Golfing

Lake of the Ozarks has some of the best golf courses in Missouri. There are courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Tom Weiskopf, Fred Farley and more. With more than 10 different courses throughout the Lake area, there is something for every golfer.

Eldon Country Club is the perfect course to take dad out for a round of golf. Away from the busy lake crowds, this golf course features a wooded backdrop, rolling hills and creeks. The Annual Father’s Day Scramble will be held the 18th and 19th.  Entry Fees must be received by June 17th.

Fishing

Lake of the Ozarks has some of the best fishing, not only in Missouri, but in the country! With 54,000 acres of water and over 1,250 miles of shoreline, there are plenty of great places to spend the day fishing. From bass to catfish, there is a large variety of fish to catch. Lake of the Ozarks State Park in Osage Beach offers boat ramps, dock-fishing and crappie beds, while Ha Ha Tonka Park near Camdenton has two boat docks and allows for fishing in marked access points. There are also independent fishing guides that can take you to excellent fishing locations and provide tackle and bait.

Camping

If the father figure in your life loves camping, Lake of the Ozarks would be the perfect place to spend the weekend outdoors. Lake of the Ozarks campgrounds ranges from the simple campsites to full electric RV hookups. With over 20 different locations to set up camp, there is no shortage of campgrounds at the Lake.

Boating

Spending the day out on the water is always an option at Lake of the Ozarks. If you own your own boat, you can launch it at one of the area’s nine public access ramps. If you do not have a boat, you can rent by the hour, day or more at various marinas, resorts and campgrounds.
