Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks

FESTIVALS

• Labor Day Fireworks Fun Fest at Old Kinderhook

This free, family-fun event will feature games for kids and adults, clowns, bounce houses, and live entertainment.  Food will be available for purchase, and the night will end with a fantastic fireworks display.

• Rocky Mount Sweet Corn Festival

Saturday, September 5, 9 am - 4 pm

This festival is now 5 years old.  There will be craft booths, food, and of course, the famous grilled "Sweet Corn!"  Proceeds from this event raise money to purchase items that are not covered by the fire department's yearly budget. The entire family will have a great time at this festival.

LAKE OF THE OZARKS

We have to end by mentioning the area itself as a source for fun.  There are hundreds of incredible bars and restaurants to visit, most of which will feature some amazing live entertainment over the weekend.  There will be lots of Labor Day sales going on everywhere, numerous parks to visit, and last but certainly not least, the lake!  Getting out on the water always makes for an incredible day.
