CADV Chili For Charity Cook-Off
The annual Chili for Charity Cook-Off gives teams the opportunity to compete for the bragging rights of best chili, plus the opportunity to raise money for a great cause. The event will include cash prizes, raffles, a cash bar, live entertainment by Dale Blue and a cake walk. Participants can sample all of the chili and vote for their favorite. The traveling trophy is engraved each year with the winners names and the winning team is asked to come back the following year to defend their title. The grand prize winner will also take home a $500 prize. Second place receives $250 and third place will get $150. A People's Choice and Best Team theme will also be awarded. If you want to participate as a team, it costs $50 and the deadline to register is January 30. All proceeds of the cook-off go to Citizens Against Domestic Violence.

Mardi Gras Pub Crawl
Leave your car at home and take the bus! The annual Mardi Gras Pub Crawl will take you where you need to go. 32 buses will run from 4:00 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. and will get you to and from your location, so there is no need to drink and drive. There are 17 participating locations and the buses will make a continuous loop between the venues and participating hotels along the route.

Where: Various locations in Lake Ozark & Osage Beach
Price: $10 (includes entrance to 17 participating venues & a ride!)

This "unbearable" event gives you the chance to show your bravery and support local Special Olympics athletes by walking or running through the frigid winter streets. All proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics year-round sports program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Participants must raise a minimum of $50 by event day. The Polar Bear Strut is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Missouri and Osage Beach Department of Public Safety is proud to host this event.
